Christopher Strickland, 36, was arrested last week on charges of aggravated assault, battery, home invasion with a weapon, larceny and an unnatural and lascivious sex offense, jail records show.

Strickland was allegedly wearing women’s clothing—including a red and pink bra—as well as a camouflage vehicle headrest over his head when he broke into the woman’s home at around 6am on June 2, WKRG reported.

He then allegedly dragged her into the living room and forced her to watch pornography on his phone while he masturbated, sheriff’s deputies said.

The woman told Escambia County Sheriff’s deputies the suspect held a pillow over her face, but she managed to struggle free, the Pensacola News Journal reported.

He then held a knife to her throat and told her he would kill her baby if she tried to get free again, according to the arrest report.

The woman said Strickland took a bra and underwear from her dresser drawer and put them on. She said that at one point during the three-hour ordeal, she also saw him trying on clothes that belonged to her baby.

The woman tried to call the police, but he allegedly grabbed her and forced her to stay on the couch, scratching her in the process.

According to the Journal, Strickland left the woman’s residence at around 9 a.m., but before leaving, the woman said he warned her he would return and kill her if she reported the incident to police.

“Do not call the police, because if you do, I will come back and kill you, because I am always around this area,” he allegedly said.

The woman reported a $900 watch, a $400 necklace, a $400 gold chain, a $100 gold ring and clothes that the victim valued at $40 had been stolen from her home, according to the Journal.

Investigators tracked Strickland down through DNA in September. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office had submitted a camouflage vehicle headrest cover that the suspect allegedly left on the victim’s kitchen floor.

It produced a positive match for Strickland in September, the Pensacola News Journal reported. Days later, the victim identified Strickland’s photo in a photo line-up.

Strickland, of Pensacola, Florida, was booked into Escambia County Jail on October 2. He is being held on a $283,500 bond. A lawyer isn’t listed on jail records.
